Expansion of the production capacity of tungsten carbide powder at Akita plant.

Japan New Metals Co.,Ltd. in October, 2013 completed construction of a new building for expansion of the manufacturing of tungsten carbide powder at our Akita plant.(Akita city, Akita prefecture)

This expansion is aimed at the establishement of stable supply of tungsten carbide powder, which is our main product and the risk diversification through multi location production at head plant (Toyonaka city, Osaka prefecture) and Akita plant.
Production capacity of tungsten carbide powder at Akita plant is doubled and its total capacity of JNM increases 20% after this expansion.
